Our Technical Team is committed to work in conjunction with the clients throughout the entire Design Process: beginning with the preparation of initial user requirements, and seeing the project through to the final production phase. With in-house preliminary EMC testing equipment and production facilities which also help you to reduce substantial development costs of your new product. Our company also provides consultancy services of power conversion, power system integration and compliance of regulatory bodies' requirements including MIL, EMC/EMI, PFC, AS3206 and Transient Protection (CISP, IEC555, IEC1000, IEC801, etc). Also undertake work on design reviews, MTBF and FMEA analysis. Our company also provides repairing of all types of PSUs and UPS's. ProductsOur custom products range from mW to KW power supply units and cover applications in the area of telecommunication, automotive, military, locomotive, gaming industry, RF application and standard commercial. All products developed exclusively and interactively with clients to achieve the most efficient and cost effective solution. we also design and manufacture our own brand "In Charge" series battery chargers, "Genie Block" DC/DC Convertors and Wafer Power for the particular requirement of Australia market. These products are also adjustable to suit overseas market requirement. TechnologyOur Technical Design Team is headed by Mr Ram Chandru who has been involved in power supplies design for several decades. He gained his MSc at Bristol University in the UK with a thesis on "Phase Lock Loop controller for a set of four eccentric exciters". In UK, Ram was Principal Electronics Engineer at Dowty Controls, a major manufacturer in the UK aircraft industry. In Dowty, Ram was responsible for analogue circuitry design and the development of high reliability power supplies. He also has been Principal Engineer with ASTEC Power Systems, one of the largest power supply manufacturers in the world, where he was involved in design work in the wide span of power supply and related technologies. In Australia, Ram has been a Technical Director of one of the biggest Power Suppliers selling company, where he has established and headed the Technical Department before he set up KaRaTec Power Supplies Pty Ltd. With the wealth of Ram's experience and his dedication which enable KaRaTec to provide designs which are not only reliable, safe, functional, but also incorporate the latest technology into its design to optimal the power conversion solution in each of our products. QualityThe company has a philosophy based on Quality and Professionalism in all aspects of engineering activities. The company's products reflect this philosophy by having always had a high reputation for quality. Systems based on the procedures of AS/NZ 9001 and 9002 have gradually been introduced to ensure the continuation of this reputation from the specification development stage of engineering right through to production.
